This is the preliminary sketches/development of a project I’m calling ‘staccato’.
I don’t want to bother looking up what staccato means/references.
thinness, movement, and rhythm
That’s what ‘staccato’ means to me.
materials: plaster, paper, fire.
The following sketches are numbered and were drawn on one roll of paper. From beginning to end, the sketches articulate the direction of ‘staccato’.
I’m not completely sold on the name.
